Can your wintel box do this ?

All new *Books from Apple has a build in motion sensor that is there protect the harddrive for harm, should you descide to hurl your *Book through the room. Some clever guys wrote a piece of software that that allows you to use the sensor to perform actions in DesktopManager like “go to the next desktop”. Some other clever guys wrote another piece of software that does the same for VirtueDesktops, which is a much cooler fork of DesktopManager and my perfered virtual desktop program. Now that is cool! =)

Kids and Legos...

=) Eventhough one is all grown-up and everything, I now have an excuse for playing with Legos again! It has been a very busy weekend, we held our housewarming on friday, went to a friends 30st…

Moved...

So we finally moved… nice! During the Easter holidays we have painted the wall and unpacked all most of our stuff. (We have way too much stuff, and I am happy I don’t have to move it again any time soon) Our internet connection should have been up and running on the 7th but since this is a completely new building, it hasn’t been wired yet, so the TDC tech guy called and canceled on us - Now we are just waiting for the 24th to arise, so we can get back online for real, and not just at $work… The new apartment is really nice, much bigger than our last one - I think we are going to be happy here :-D

Life ... It's magic!

Today we went to the hospital to get scanned, and when I say we get scanned I mean my girlfriend got scanned. It was a fantastic experience, to see actual life - to really see it move and touch its head, and twitch its little spine. Today fatherhood got a little more real, now its not just my girlfriends stomach that is growing, today I have seen it with my own two eyes. It’s magic!

Homeless...

Today all of our stuff got picked up by the moving guys, and our new home is not completely build until the 7. of April. So we are now officially homeless. Fortunately we have some really good friends, one of whom has taken us in for the next 3 weeks, while the construction workers finish the last details on our new home. Thanks bonde!

Apple's wierd sometimes...

I really dig Apple’s products, they look nice, they feel nice, they even work nice… But when things break, Apple sometimes sucks… I broke my arrow down key on my almost shinny new PowerBook, guess I read too much mail. I walked up to Apple’s booth on LinuxForum last saturday, and asked them how to get this fixed as easy as possible - I really just need the arrow down key - and they said: “You must send it in for repairs, we’ll change the entire keyboard”. How stupid is that? - I couldn’t even buy the missing key, and I can’t live with out my laptop as it is my main workstation for both $work and $home. Come on Apple, you can do better than that!

The Da vinci Junkie

I know this cute girl, who thinks she might be mainstream , actually I live with her, and I would definitely say no. Recently she picked up The Da vinci Code , and she haven’t been able to put it down until she finished it yesterday evening. Every free moment, every time of the day she just had to read a couple of pages… I remember seeing a BBC TV documentary on Discovery channel a couple of years ago, before the book came out. I then found it an interesting story

All I ever wanted...

from Parken where Depeche mode gave concert number 55 in their marathon tour Touring The Angel. Great fun and all in all a cool concert. It had the usual problem all larger concerts in Denmark have…
